What a fantastic week! Not only was it great fun for my son, who was 13 at the time, but he learned so much too! He came away with a much greater appreciation and LOVE for the sport. I saw a marked improvement in his confidence and skill level when the camp was complete. Paul and Aaron were very organized and kept the participants going with a flurry of activity each day. Even when the weather didn’t want to cooperate there was still a lot to keep them engaged! Safety was a top priority on a daily basis with emphasis placed on the proper gear for the sport and common road sense with courtesy of other participants and road and foot traffic. The knowledge of the sport he was given was remarkable. Paul and Aaron are avid Long Boarders themselves and now they can add “Teachers and Mentors” to their resume! I would not hesitate to send my son to another camp with these gentlemen. They treated him with respect and taught him the value of “Stepping Up” to take responsibility and to try new things. He came home every night excited to go the next day. What parent wouldn’t want that for their child? My hope for the summer of 2012 is that Aaron and Paul will put together more camps so that my son can enjoy even more time with a great group of guys and continue to grow in the sport of Longboarding that he loves.
